Seems like a nice price for a handy little set. I decided to pick this up since I lost my previous work toolkit. For anyone interested, this appears to have been $30 for the past year, with the $20 price supposedly being matched last year in November / December, and heading back above $30 in early January.

Don't buy this. The design is horrible. You can't grab the smaller sockets. You will need to buy a tool for this tool to be functional. Price has gone to $20 many times in the past.

Don't know why Kobalt is so bad at case design. They have another ratchet and driver set that has a nearly impossible to get out ratchet because it's tightly clamped in, but has no finger access to pry it loose. I had to drill a finger hole near the end of the case to be able to pry it out.

Just curious- you mean the sockets are too firmly stuck in the case and hard to remove?

I have no experience with this case, but I have another Kobalt tool set with a case, and it's wonderful. Best money I've ever spent. The tools never fall out of the case, and they're not difficult to remove or reinsert. I'm a fit male. A petite female might have different opinion I guess.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I just bought this set this morning, and have no problem grabbing any of the smaller sockets. Also, there are finger grooves for the main 3 tools. My only complaint is the wrench is hard to put back in once removed, but gets easier after you figure out the angle it needs to be inserted at.

For anyone curious, this set appears to be made in Vietnam, not Taiwan like some Kobalt socket sets. (I'd personally prefer Taiwan)
