No not at all, you couldn't be more wrong. Literally is perfect for what Klein tools major market is geared for…people in the trades- mainly electrical. Over 95% of nuts, bolts and screws we use in electrical are SAE

beware; you'll loose the 5/16 bit rather quickly. happens all the time.

why? the way it's designed; the tip will snag on something while you move about and it's gone.

paid 2x for it; not getting a 3rd.

Ah, SAE. No wonder it's on sale.

It's something that only a minor handful of places used -- and even they're moving away from it. I guess there's a time and place for it -- let's say you need to tinker around with grandpappy's rust bucket.

Most everything now is metric.

Probably 95% of the times I use a nut driver the sizes are 1/4", 5/16" or 3/8". Maybe this just isn't for your use case?

does the spring eject the larger bolt?
do you need to hold the bolt in place while starting
if I had to reach and wanted to keep my other hand on the ladder or if it was a tight space and couldn't get both hands in.

Agreed. I do remodel work and handyman type stuff. 9/16 1/2 and 1/4 make up the majority of things I need to work on.
