Any thoughts on this brand? Thinking about getting the Sandisk ssd, but at this price & 2TB might be a better deal? Need this to back up our iphones- photos & videos. Thanks!

Sandisk writes at 1000MB/s. So if you need to transfer large files might as well spend the extra $50

For the entire transfer???

My experience with lower level Sandisk pen drives is they write fast until the cache is filled, then writes slow to a crawl.

For WORM, that is fine.

If specs for a pen drive don't list a write speed, that is a red flag for me.

Never buy an unknown, cheap brand. I bought a 2 TB drive very cheaply and used it fine for small files and photos. But when I moved it to a 2 TB drive for my very important, big, and large files, I did so before formatting the SSD on my computer. After formatting my SSD and trying to back up from the 2 TB drive to the SSD, the files were not copied or moved, and I ultimately lost many valuable files.
