while glass lid may survive the oven at 350, it may not be ideal for "dutch oven", which should provide even heat from bottom, sides and top. It's a nice soup pot, that can go into an oven, but it is not a "dutch oven".

If you're looking for a "real" dutch oven, this is not a good buy. Glass lid aside, stainless kind of sucks as a material for a "proper" dutch oven.

A cheap enameled cast iron dutch oven is a better purchase. A quick search gives you this 5.5qt unit with 4.7/5 and over 6000 reviews for $48: https://www.amazon.com/Overmont-E...B0BXRYXYS7

If you have use for a 5qt pot, this is fine. I have used the Brazilian Tramontina tri-ply in the past and it's good stuff, though admittedly I sold it in favor of the China-made Henckels tri-ply (which I prefer).
