So you can throw it out when the battery eventually won't hold a charge?
I have had my Norelco wireless clippers for over 12 years and have cut my hair every other week, so over 450 cuts, and the battery is fine. I dont know how long it lasts, but I charge it after 3 cuts.

Got a cordless, works as Wahl. Replacing it's 16550 Li-Ion battery is a piece of cake.

Stop living in the past! Replace your shit unnecessarily!
I have a wireless one that i used for several years, went back to the corded old school Wahl from the bottom drawer. Is it a PITA to deal w/ the cord? sure, but you will never get the performance from a motored item running off a battery instead of drowning in current off a wall outlet. Makes a big difference in blending those fades, imo

I doubt it. With Li-Ion charged battery you'd hardly see a difference. BTW Wahl boasts a long, 6 ft cord. Does yours have it that long?

There's more than one thread Reddit's /r/barber about it. Not sure about the cord length on my Wahl, it's still twisty tied from the factory. At a glance though, i'd say about 6' 1"

Thanks for your clarification!
