Dunno yet, still haven't finished the build yet. But I'm glad I jumped on this either way, 32GB now costs what this 64GB did!

Ha, you got that right about the cost of ram! I'm working on my build too. I just need the GPU and RAM. Hoping to pick up a 9070 XT during BF deals for $600 (or less) and now I'd just be happy to get 64GB of DDR6000 CL30 for under $250.

Just following up, got a CPU, got the memory working, the tl;dr version is I learned "memory training" is a thing, drove me nuts wondering why the system wasn't booting, but it does work fine, all 128GB at 6000. Mind you, I haven't loaded an OS yet to run Prime95 or Memtest or anything yet, but at least booting to BIOS works as it should.

Still VERY glad I jumped on this and didn't wait for answers (that never came) - 32GB of memory is $200 now and it's only going to get worse!

Dang, 128GB? You aren't playing around! 🤣 What are you planning on doing with that much ram? Running your own Hyper-V server at home?

Right now I'm just waiting for my CPU cooler to arrive later today, and my GPU to arrive tomorrow and I can start building my new gaming rig this weekend.

I wish I had purchased this deal when it originally listed, but I managed to get the same RAM for $190 on Woot after the RAM prices spiked like mad, so I mostly dodged the RAM price spike bullet and only suffered had a minor scratch instead of a fatal wound to my wallet.

Mostly running more than 6-7 Chrome tabs laugh out loud

I've got 64 in my current rig, just figured 128 was the next logical move when I upgrade. I did finally get a chance to run Memtest, it failed, so I guess I have some tweaking to do with the voltage, timings, settings, etc. to get it dialed in.

What's the highest RAM utilization you've seen when running 64GB? My current PC is 32GB and I'd like to be able to game without worrying about closing my 30 browser tabs (no joke that's how many I have open right now). Brave browser is currently consuming 3.7GB or ram at the moment.

I had problems running 4 sticks of RAM on my old i5-2500k so since then I've always decided to upgrade my ram so I only needed to use two sticks.

Right now my task manager says I'm using 63% of my 64GB of ram, 40.5GB. I'm probably in sore need of a reboot. laugh out loud

I've never had a problem running 4 sticks until now, apparently AM5 is a bit picky about running 4, so I'm doing a lot of reading about settings, voltages, etc. as mentioned. I'm sure I'll get it dialed in at some point, but my free time lately has been 0, so it'll have to wait.

Edit/update: had to kick it down to 5800, couldn't get it stable at 6000 no matter how much tweaking I tried, good enough for me.
