A lot of laptop for the money . Only thing that really hurts it is the 16GB of RAM considering the iGPU will take 4-8GB of it.

FWIW, I had been considering the Zenbook 14 but ended up going with a Surface Laptop 7 refurbished on eBay for $700 (black) or $600 (silver). But for me, the increased battery life of the ARM chipset was crucial and compatibility with an x86 chipset was nominal.

Asus makes bad laptops - I am not touching this brand with a 10 mile pole.
Wtf , Asus makes one of the best laptops available in the G series . Not sure what you're talking about .

Can you please share the eBay link? I am trying to make the same decision and am leaning towards Surface.

60hz, no deal. Seeing that apple gave the regular iphone 17 120hz, now is really unacceptable for anyone to do 60hz :-)

I like the Zenbook line. I like mine but it's 5 years old and limited to 8gb of soldered ram. I hate soldered ram. If this had a real GPU with it's own ram I would snap this up.

There is actually one in stock new at WM not too far from me.... but the 16gb of soldered ram still bums me out. I googled around for 780m benchmarks and yeah it can easily eat up 4gb+ of memory and you're still gaming at 720p on most stuff.

If you're not a big gamer, this seems like a nice laptop for $600.

Asus used to be good, about 10-15 years ago... presently it's just cr@p.

Arm is not compatible with a lot of apps, so u made a wrong decision
Only if you use the incompatible apps. I don't.

Can I expand it to 1T instead of 512G?
