A good price for PLA is $9-$10 and there have been a lot of good deals from $8-$9. These are $10.59 each, pretty much an every day price.

Many 1 count spools for $10 on Amazon, 2 packs should be even less:

I believe there is a difference in quality honestly. I never had a Creality spool come crossed or really any issues with consistency. I think you're underestimating the ease of mind here.

the number of stuck filament issues I had with 3dhojor filament, that I got for our $7/spool with Amazon haul, was not worth the cost. from now on, I will gladly pay the extra few dollars to not have to run down and fix and re-load the filament
