I'll never buy another large item from Aliexpress again. Currently dealing with a defective 3D printer that Aliexpress is trying to tell me I need to pay my own return shipping for. The shipping costs $100, which is over half the cost of the printer. PayPal is trying to tell me it's Aliexpress's policy and standard practice for the buyer to pay return shipping. Now having to file a chargeback through my credit card.

Got the Ladped lp60 last month. I've ran through the battery 4 or 5 times so far since I got it last month. I just blast around the neighborhood or cul-de-sac for fun. Put some sweet underglow on mine, also from AliExpress. The kids in the neighborhood are jealous. Its a Xaomi 365 clone. If you don't mind it slowing down to 11 mph up slight hills and 9 mph up steeper hills, get it.

I think this would be cool to keep in my car And when I want to Go somewhere downtown I can park further away where the parking is free and use this to get to my destination, but what would I do with it once I do get to my destination? Lock it to a bike rack or something?

Whats the difference between the LP60 and LP80? I cant find any info online.
Cause this is cheaper by a bit then that other FP deal for the LP80
From what i can tell it's the battery size. Range on LP60=16 (36V / 5.2Ah) miles vs LP80 =19 miles (36V/10.5Ah)
Those numbers don't make any sense lol.

Battery is literally over double the capacity but the range only increases by 18% (3 miles)? Seems like the LP60 range is really over optimistic or the LP80 should be 29 miles rather than 19.
Alright. Here is one hard piece of data from my son who dishes out the maximum beating that this thing can possibly take. He probably weighs 230-240lbs. He has ridden it constantly all the way through the summer heat of Phoenix, even if it's 110 outside. I can't guarantee the amount of miles he's put on it, but I'd guess at least a couple hundred. However, it will only get him four miles and the battery craps out. Is it still worth it? Yes. He really enjoys it and it keeps him happy. Most people will get much better mileage because they're lighter than him. The battery may have degraded from when it was initially bought, but I don't have that data point. Most of his scooting is on flat ground.
If he kills it, I still don't regret it. I'll replace the motor with a normal tire and it's still a heavy duty scooter for $116 (I think I paid after tax, import, etc). That's better than the Razor scooters with the larger wheels. Those only hold 220 and he tears those up.

Is Aliexpress a safe site? Reputable and has free returns like Amazon?
It is safe. i have been ordering from them for about a year now. i have placed close to 50 orders.
returns? forget about it. i tried returning some things, never heard back from them.
so youre just buying at your own risk. everything i buy are small items 10 bucks or lower in price. so if i get burned with a return, it isnt a big deal.
for a scooter i might think twice about it. i would rather spend 60 dollars more, get the same item from amazon, but knowing that they have user reviews and a hastle free return policy.

At least you got the item. I bought a medium sized wood working tool from AliE and it never came. They even assigned an erroneous tracking number which I did some sleuthing (deliverer uploaded a photo of it which included the house that I recognized from down the street) they showed me the item still in the box belonging to that tracking number but it was addressed to them and was something entirely different. It wasn't even delivered by AliE, but from Home Depot too so no chance of clerical error. Goodbye 400$

good enough to go and pick up the mail, or a quick ride to the nearest store to pick up a last minute item. YMMV. Rough on sidewalks, great on regular asphalt or sidewalk made of asphalt.

"Pick up the mail"…from the Post Office? Confused

just received mine and honestly not bad for $120. I was able to hit like 15mph no probs but i would probably recommend with going for ones with bigger tires (they may cost more). 8.5in is nice for a short trip but you can get the wobbles at high-speed which tires you and low-key dangerous. 10in+ is probably the way to go.

Sounds absolutely high-key dangerous

This is a great scooter. I'd pay for double the battery on the LP80 though. You're never getting 16 miles on the LP60 and I don't think you will on the LP80 unless you are very light (kids). My kid started riding hers the 3 mile round trip to school and it's great for that.

I bought and already received one for my 15 yo son. It's pretty sweet. It's speedy but not too fast. It has a front and rear light for visibility. I rode it a few times and it was fun and solid. Definitely worth the price.

I got it and I love it. Should have gotten the LP80 worth it for the 2x bigger battery for a little more.
Thanks for the tip. It was 129 with the same coupon.
I seen ebikes for not much more, this thing is a bit dangerous with the little plastic honeycomb wheels. How do you like yours?

Different use case. Needed the portability.

But I mean its very much a sub 200 dollar e-scooter. Kinda crappy, kinda slow on hills, but if you need some cheap last mile transportation it works great. Youre right about the wheels, theyre super rough and you definitely feel every imperfection in the road.

Compared to my Segway G3 Max its not even in the same universe.

it came super fast and easy to install... This is for kids (12-17 year olds) /small adults under 5'8 works great, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 225 pounds specially if you are gonna go uphill, for flat roads its pretty good and actually pretty fast , kids rode around about an hour before it ran out of battery.
I go it for $115 , this is def a toy , I can attest to what other posted about hitting the road bumps. For the Price the quality is great, def worth it if you want a cool toy for Xmas.
