Is it a 12 inch extension as you have indicated or a 12 foot extension?
product page for the saw says you can reach branches up to 12ft off the ground, that's including the length of the base, the extension, the pole saw attachment, and you. I have the Ryobi pole saw attachment and it came with an extension that is about the length of the pole saw shaft, doubling its length. it's definitely longer than 12", probably closer to 2ft or more

I have an ego electric string trimmer but not one with any official brush cutter, is it possible to find a universal brush cutter attachment or is that crazy/dangerous

Got the Greenworks 60v attachment compatible trimmer from here a couple weeks ago and was thinking about taking it back until today because I couldn't justify the attachments. Got the edger, hedge trimmer, brush cutter, and tiller. Nice one, thanks!

In for a hedge trimmer, pole saw, brush cutter, tiller, and two edgers. Excellent Xmas gifts for those that keep borrowing my stuff.

Can anyone confirm these would work with a DeWalt 60V trimmer? My DeWalt did accept an attachment from my old 2 stroke craftsman trimmer, so I'm guessing I'm good to go here?

got tiller. I've been eyeing them on eBay for a whirl and they are always more expensive and always expensive shipping.

$49 is a steal

Just my luck. I literally waited years searching for a deal on the brush cutter before I finally broke down and bought one at H.D. for 10%off. I also bought the pole saw attachment on DTO for a so-so price because it is never really "cheap". The brush cutter works really well for my needs, the pole saw attachment not so much. My Ryobi 18V pole saw works better than my Ryobi brushless 40V Expand-It with the pole saw attachment. It may be because Ryobi recently reduced the size of the cutting teeth on the chain of the attachment capable pole saw. Perhaps the Hart still has the larger teeth. Anyway, this is a great deal.

Does anyone know if stuff from this site can be returned directly to Walmart or does it have to be shipped back?

Yeah...I literally bought the edger attachment last week for double the price on eBay. but hey...I went ahead and bought two more! faster to change heads than to change blades, and I have a lot of sidewalk and curb edging I have to do. Can then just change all the blades at the same time when needed.

Each of these attachments is an exact clone of the last-gen Ryobi expand-it attachments. I have a bunch of them.

These are likely made by the same manufacturer, and fully cross-compatible.
