How is the battery life so far with general usage? and does it run warm in silent mode?
Battery is great. I set it to silent mode for both charging and battery, set to eco mode for graphic.
It was cooler than my LG gram when using on my lap. No heat from keyboard. I am so far very happy with the G14.
I haven't test on running any game yet, but what sold me is the portability and long battery life. My main purpose is for development not gaming.
"it's fine that this laptop has super sharp edges that cut into your wrists because it's made for GAMERS, not TYPERS"
It's an egregious design flaw regardless of who the laptop was made for. Any laptop that cuts into your wrists from normal use is ridiculous.
So a handful of people say they get bothered by the keyboard, so it's fact? Nope
