Looks like AMD doesn't want to grab some market share from NV. They 100% have the ability to secure the 9070 supply in the last few months and take at least 10%-20% of the market but they simply gouged the price with their NV buddy. Well deserved that under 5%.

Not really under 5% already debunked by actual sales and not Steam numbers....But I get what you mean.

When people game on 9070's, what does steam hardware survey show as the graphics card? At least amd prices are getting better. Nvidia -80 is better than nvidia -50.

It shows properly for me, but I had to force a hardware survey submission request

It's pitiful isn't it?

It's almost as if she's Jensen's cousin and they're cooperating to keep Nvidia on top.

So much opportunity for good will and positive brand notoriety, but let's do it for a few $100.

How are AMD prices getting better? The launch price was $600. Now its on sale for $670.

I have seen tons of Nvidia cards for launch price.

You obviously have no clue what Asian family dynamics are like.

I don't and I'm being a conspiracist lol

Still, it's kind of absurd how AMD has blown past intel but has stayed in it's distant second place for GPUs for decades

the only way to get better than Nvidia is to offer a better value, which they really aren't doing

MSRP is 600 for 9070xt, 750 for 5070ti, they perform around the same. People's main criticism of amd's pricing being "nvidia -$50" was true for a long time, the msrp, at least on the surface changed that. As far as street prices (how much people were actually willing to pay), 5070ti was selling for $1000, while 9070xt was $950, then 900 and 850, note the $50 separation on what people were ACTUALLY willing to pay. Now it's $80 as 5070ti fell to msrp, but 9070xt still hasn't, but people are still willing to pay this price, it's still selling out at this price, because it's the same performance as 5070ti, and overclocks even better. Now, 9070 is a better deal than both, because not only is it cheaper, but you can flash a 9070xt bios on it to increase performance.
