I was just at my local store (49002) and they had the 1150 ft-lbs 6ah battery with a hard case for $129.

Seems like a good deal. life time warranty if registered within 30 days.

Theyre both made by the same company. Kobalt has a 5 year warranty and flex has a lifetime warranty.

A great tool ruined by poor marketing choices and brand position. I put it next to Milwaukee on all marks. Not under or below but equal. I'd subjectively comment that the Flex is industrial in all the good and bad ways. Heavy, but indestructible and drives with grunt.
I do not recommend them to anyone who would want to expand in the future simply because Milwaukee will always offer more.
If you want a drill that should be a ton of money but is instead just existing in the bottom rung because of poor marketing choices, here is your chance to own one of the best drills ever made, that noone will ever know about

I got this last time it was on sale along with 2 batteries. It is a very powerful tool. Also has lifetime warranty which includes 3 or 4 replacements on the battery (this was last year, not sure if the lifetime warranty is still applicable now). I also have craftsman set, ryobi driver but always find myself reaching for these as they are really powerful with higher RPM.
