Ordered a 22TB last week, was dead on arrival. Setting up a return now. I'll stick with WD.
How did you test it? I'm curious as to what's considered the best way to test a drive. Thanks
I used the supplied power adapter with multiple known-good electrical outlets. No response, no light/LED on the face plate, no sound from the drive spinning up, or any vibration - no reaction at all. Tested with another known good power adapter (same voltage and power output) that came from a 20TB seagate drive I purchased from best buy back in February. Same results. Hoping that seagte drive I bought in February will lasts, not holding my breath at this point, at least it's just a plex server drive - no critical data.
