does anyone know if this is actually 1.76 gallons per minute or is it just hyped marketing stats? I would like it for car washing but I already have a 1.2gpm and wonder if this is really the same if they were being honest

Specs from the web site -

Max 2000 PSI and 1800 rated PSI of powerful, deep-cleaning water pressure with max 1.76 GPM and 1.2 rated GPM of water flow.

It seems like a technological breakthrough is needed for these electric pressure washers to be made any more powerful.

I ordered the Karcher K1700 for around $60 a few weeks ago. does anyone have inputs on if this is better than Karcher? willing to shell out extra bucks if this is more powerful or durable?. thank you

The westinghouse gives you a burst of increased pressure and flow for about 5-10 seconds after pulling the trigger then the pressure settles down a bit and stays consistent. So i assume thts the 1.76gpm and then the 1.2 gpm. The short term boost is good for the really stubborn stuff tbh
I used this same one to pressure wash moss and grime off of a concrete driveway recently. It absolutely CANNOT compete with an engine powered/gas powered pressure washer, but noise was a factor in my purchase too. I want to be able to use this anytime without pissing off the neighbours

The problem in the US is that 120v 15amps just isn't enough to go high PSI and high flow. There are expensive 240v ones that are far more capable. As batteries continue to get cheaper that'll be the route to consumer high pressure and high flow washers. For example greenworks has an electric 2gpm at 3000psi battery model.
