The Q7 is a FAR superior TV. TCL deceptively named this TV. It's actually a Q6 with better viewing angles. It doesn't even have local dimming. It's a low-end TV from 2023, while the Q7 is a mid-range TV from 2023.

Are you sure the TCL Q7 is on sale at BJ's. I don't see it anywhere on their site. Best Buy has the 75" on sale for $600, though.

It's not even remotely similar. This is a deceptively rebranded Q6. It doesn't even have local dimming. The actual Q7 is on sale at Best Buy for $600, though. It's the 7 series TV from 2023 (QM7K is 2025). It's only a minor downgrade from the new model, while this Costco TV is a bottom shelf TV.

There is a good discussion of the Q77 on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/tcltvs/c..._thoughts/

This one is basically a worse version of the old Q7, and they're using the similar name to trick you into buying it.

This has been the price for a while. It went down to $519 or 529 a couple weeks ago.

Why Costco is not carrying the QM7K model? I got the Panasonic mini led from Costco but it developed a black line across the screen and I had to return it. Now I'm back in the market for a decent TV.

I just got this TV (75") the other week and love it. Upgraded my Samsung 65" from a few years back. Been using it for pc gaming for the sweet sweet 144hz. By no means is it a high end or OLED tv but pretty cool for the cheap price tag IMO.

TCL is a fking joke! I got one last year and that piece of garbage randomly turns on by itself all the time. The first time it turned on in the middle of the night and we all thought there are intruders. I end up putting a switch on its power and really turn it off for good!

He said "BB", not BJ.
