way back when, we had to have a huge computer tower so that we could support the AOL hardware. that's where the tower went (sideways) so the cords could come out the back, and nothing was wireless, not even a mouse.

Looks like just what I've been looking for ... I hope at least... I've been needing a small desk for a while so I pulled the trigger with shipping for just over $30 without even double checking measurements on my space.

Not that you are wrong, but some gamers still preferred all wired set ups due to the latency of wireless.

These are the kinds of 90s/2000s desks that have been at garage sales and thrift shops for the last 15 years for $5. Not sure why they even still produce them just just to end up clearancing them for under $20 brand new. They say $60-$150 on Wayfair but I can't see anyone actually paying that these days.
