Thought the 27 gallons were $2.50 at first. Disappointed.

I don't know if it's available everywhere but in my area they'll do small deliveries for a flat $3 till it crosses some indeterminate threshold. It's the same price via that delivery as pickup and it must draw from a larger area; there were only about 12 available from my local store but 65 for this delivery. Personally I'll drop $3 to avoid dealing with their pickup counter, much less the actual driving to the store.

ordered 1 black and 1 clear to see what's all the fuss about from a few months ago as these are their normal price.

The clear hasn't been in stock for quite some time, so I think this is more of a head's up.

Clear are great, no need to label.

I followed your advice, and it seemed good at first; shipping for 10 totes was just $3. But on the final page before completing the order, the shipping cost jumped to $35 and crushed my cheap bastard heart.

That said, I ended up getting 10 of the clear for $26 via pickup. I've got 7 days to think over my somewhat impulsive purchase, but honestly, having 10 cute little clear totes to store retro games or small tools feels like a handy thing to have around. Still, it bugs me that $2.50 seems to be the usual price, and my cheap bastard instincts might eventually push me to cancel the order

$3 delivery is outsourced to lowest bidder across the gig work platforms, so the threshold is what estimate a typical doordasher can fit in their car

I'm not sure why you were down voted, but you're not wrong. They are just over 1.5 gallons of storage space.

They may be regular price at $2.50, but they're definitely useful for organizing small goods. One can build a really simple small wall or floor mount rack these slide into.

Or, you can be a savage and stack them and have to fight with them every time you need to get the bottom one out... you know who you are.

Make sure you're paying attention to the size. 6.5 quarts is just over 1.5 gallons.
The normal tote size that many of us are familiar with is 18 gallons IIRC.
This is great to store your pet rock or a couple tea bags.

I tried to find the 6.5qt totes in store last time and couldn't find them anywhere. Website said they had like 90 of them. Checked the tote aisle and near the registers, etc. Nothing. So I went home and just ordered 4 for store pickup. Showed up and they wheeled out 4 of the 27 gal ones. Apparently they didn't know where they were either. Questioning if I should try again. I'm up to my neck in 27 gal totes. Just want some shoe box ones.

NOTE - These are not 27 Gallons for $2.50.
The 27 gallons are $7.98 (same price as Lowes).
These are 6.5 Qt. for $2.50.
