After much research I've learned that current cards, including the 5090, are not completely well suited for 4k gaming. You are sacrificing a lot of frames for some modest clarity, even with dlss and fg.

I think a 5k2k screen sounds nice, but in reality, i think this resolution is absolutely perfect for a 5090. All the bells and whistles and you can possibly hit that magical 240hz frame rate.

Just a question for anyone here that would know, what's the difference between this and the 39" that was sold at Costco for $600 a month ago?

I got the one from costco, not sure about anything else, but from the pictures the back on this one is white instead of black and seems to have some extra input sockets. Also the webOS.

I'm running a 9800x3d and rtx 5080 and getting a bit over 150fps on "very high" settings on borderlands 4. Looks fantastic in any case.

Awesome man, and congrats on the monitor. I could have bought it but decided not to and regretted it almost immediately
