In case anyone is wondering, since it's not in the OP - this bat light is made of aluminum, so, yeah - you could definitely use this bad boy for self defense.

At less than a pound and one foot long, it would be best paired with your katana and fedora m'lady.

Plus, unlike a 4 D cell MagLite, it is designed to be a weapon by it's configuration as former law enforcement I'll tell you right now if you give a cop a reason this will get you a menacing charge. It looks like a mini baseball bat whereas a MagLite is just a flashlight... Until it isn't.

Not a lawyer but if you get this you might want to get to know one.
