Does anyone know if the seller is good? Like, this is a great freaking deal but I just want to know if it's too good to be true with the seller

How does this compare to 14" M4 Pro with 48GB for $2099 from BHPhoto? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...ro_m4.html

If you're doing more compiling or video editing the M3 Max will be better and the extra storage space will be a welcome addition. This 16" would be my preference for the storage and larger screen size alone. However, If you want portability and a slightly brighter screen, the 14" M4 Pro might be a better option.

I got a M4 Max with the 36GB and 32-core GPU at Costco which has less memory and less GPU cores than this model at nearly $3200 prior to taxes in April. Had this deal come up earlier at this price, I wouldn't even hesitate to get this deal instead. Too late to return it now but this is an incredible price for the specs in the land of Macbook Pros.

Or if you work for an AI startup and sleep in office every day, a larger screen may be worth it.

YW. There is no tax with BH photo's credit card, so that makes this deal even better. The amount saved can go towards a 4TB external NVME. This and thunderbolt 5 makes me slightly biased towards M4 Pro, still debating myself

If you can wait it out, by all means do so. Otherwise, this is hard to beat for the price.

As much as I'd like to believe Thunderbolt 5 is worth is, I have yet to have any compelling reason to think it's worth 200 or even 1000 bucks at this point given this deal price point lol.

Not, almost. It is indeed the same product that is now $10 cheaper.
