RDR1 on Switch 1 is the worst way to play it, it runs at 720p handheld and 1080p on dock, textures, shadows and raw distances have been lowered to provide a stable 30 FPS. The best way to play it is on PC, and second place is PS5, on PS5 Game runs at 4K@60FPS. On xbox Game runs at 4K but was never upgraded to 60 FPS. Still locked at 30 FPS on xbox series S and X.

I waited 14 years to place this on a PC with mouse/keyboard. Headshots from horseback never felt so good. I'm sure RDR2 will be even more amazing.

I think this is a new re-print of the game that is published by Rockstar Games themselves now rather than by Nintendo. They also seemingly lowered the price of the game so this looks to be the new standard price. Same exact story with Grand Theft Auto Trilogy as well btw.

Even though it's a custom mobile CPU on the Switch, it's still 2014 vs 2005 technology. System memory on the Switch is 4GB vs 512MB as well. Finally, there's the issue of streaming data from a disc or HDD versus solid state memory on the Switch. XBox 360 and PS3 are the absolute worst ways to experience RDR.

What is the resolution and frame rate on ps4?? Was the last time I played this one. ETA sorry I thought this was rdr2!
