Very tempting. Not a fan of the wide side roll form factor though. Prefer rolling the cooler long ways. Any reviews or opposite opinions?

I would expect the handle to be more sturdy on this type than the long ones. I've seen a lot of reviews on the other type where handles broke off due to weight.

I had the coller you pull long ways. I hated it. You will hit your legs the entire time! I would never get one of those kind again. It wants to lunge forward all of the time, and it constantly hits your legs. this kind is way better because the handle is in a fixed position, so it can't lunge at you going down a slight incline.

I'm having trouble picturing how that'd happen. It's still all be behind you. It might be harder to tilt it but why would it lunge forward? Did it not have a fixed handle like this?

This isn't the sturdiest cooler and I wouldn't drag it over harsh terrain to my camp because you will wind up carrying it. Having said that, I bought one a couple of years ago, works fine for chilling drinks for deck and firepit gatherings. My firepit is about 200-250 feet from my deck and it isn't easy hauling it when full of ice and drinks. The handle has a lot of slop and the wheels are kind of chincy. I got mine on sale for 19.99, so maybe wait for a better deal.

Longer upper body than lower. Have the same issue with anything pulled behind me so I wind up pushing everything.

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense. I was also thinking based off the handles on my cooler which are pretty long. I could see this with a shorter handle length.

I've had this cooler in my SUV for the last 1 to 1-1/2 years, I use it for shopping trips. My wife and I tend to do all of our errands on a single day, then eat out, etc. It can keep the colds....cold for the entire excursion (many times spanning 8+ hours) even on super hot southern summer days where the car easily can get to 120+ degrees in the sun. Cooler still looks new and hasn't warped even being stored inside the vehicle 24/7.
