I totally agree with you in most cases though, could you imagine buying borderlands 4 and then having it run at 30fps with recommended hardware 😂

Preorder for store pickup and wait a couple days. If reviews/user feedback is good then go pick up and get that $10 preorder bonus. If poor, cancel and lose nothing. I have some certificates though I need to use so probably going to do that.
I played the hell out of the beta and loved it - but out of principle I won't preorder a digital copy, and frankly it'd need to be $30-40 to force me into the EA App
The launch of this game will have ~3 large Battlefield maps, and that's all I'd be interested in. $70 and a $10 GC worth it for that? Not for me.
The game engine, graphics, and mechanics all looked and felt great in the beta though. Just needs more real Battlefield content.
