If you don't need 11 channels & after Dirac room correction, this is probably the best unit to go with especially at this price in my experience!

Very capable unit, pre outs, 2 independent sub outs & access to DLBC, hard to beat imo.

Can't get code to work. Tried case sensitive, and 0s and Os. No dice.'

EDIT: Got it working, cannot add coupon code at checkout, must be done in cart before you click checkout.

Are these "open box" items as good as new? I'm wanting to bite but a bit skeptical

If you look at prior EE post people reported receiving new units with OB. You also retain manufacturers warranty.

I tried model 50 - did not like the sound compared to Denon. This is my personal opinion. How about 30 sounds?

You likely would not be able to tell them apart.

I must be an idiot, but I'm unable to add the code.. something is wonky with the website.. I add coupon code to the field when viewing cart, then go to check out page and it's back to $799... also on the cart page, i click "select coupon" and that does nothing but resets the web page, clearing everything out. I've tried for 15 minutes..
OK finally got it.. had to use my iPhone with Safari browser to select the coupon under "select coupon" on the cart page... wouldnt work with Chrome on the desktop!

I installed one of these a few weeks ago to replace an older txnr626 running a 7.2 setup. It's been an amazing improvement. Even my kids noticed.

Hi! Can you recommend some 5.1 speaker for $1,500-$2,000?

Unfortunately sound is completely subjective, adding in the cost makes it exponentially more subjective. My suggestion is listen to as many speakers as you can. When you find the one that is outstanding but just out of your price range, those are the ones to go after.Just do it piece by piece. You actually save money doing this in the long run, in my experience.
