For those who doesn't know, Hilton just had 3 points devaluation in one year, and price increases on most of their properties. After 10 years of being Diamond member, they are dead to me.

I've seen Hilton Tru's by the airport for 60K points, which seems silly to me. We're done saving up points and just going to go points + money for now on. I wonder what happens to the people that bought into Hilton Grand Vacations who convert into Hilton points... I sat through one of those once to get 150K points.

It was funny I was actually looking to book a two night stay at Hampton suites last week but I guess they jacked up the price this week to honor the 20%. I didnt see this promotion until today but when I finally booked my hotel yesterday I paid about 20% more for the price in face. It was supposed to be $213 including taxes last week and I ended up paying $269 yesterday. Also 3 years ago i had about 15K points that was worth a one night and now its 25K points for a one night?

Have Hilton & Marriott top tier statuses and honestly both are literally 💩💩💩 right now. Loyalty tbh gives back to the customer nothing. It's been more than 3 years since any of them gave me an upgrade or 4pm checkouts. So done with em.

Hilton has really gone to the garbage in the U.S. Free breakfasts are gone, lounges are closed or mostly useless, points devalued. Need to stay outside the U.S. for any value and even those are devalued with the recent point inflation. Bad brand that has no loyalty value.
