I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but can I buy the switch one version and then upgrade in the app for $10 still? Was that a limited time only thing? So essentially getting the switch two version for $23.99?

As of a month ago, reddit says yes. "You can buy the Switch 1 version, don't even need to download it. Switch 2 version then changed in the eshop to $10."

if you have a PC and at least RTX 4070 or equivalent I suggest you to play it on PC, It has the highest Quality available for this Game, as well max Ray tracing, it does look beautiful at 4K@60FPS.

I just purchased for Switch and it did allow me to upgrade to the Switch 2 version. Prices are below.

$13.99 for the Switch 1 Deluxe version linked in this post.

$10.00 to upgrade to the standard version on Switch 2.

Or

$15.00 to upgrade to the Deluxe version on Switch 2.

Last time I was able to buy the Switch 1 version. Played for a bit (with my Switch 2 and setting up character and then getting sorted to my house) and then there was an option to upgrade for $10 at Switch.

Same thing happened with me. I thought it was my xbox and gave it a cleaning and the game is still not smooth.
