I actually have done this in the past because the batteries were cheaper with the blower than just buying the batteries and charger kits.

Edit: Tried it out, I now have a new workout routine, walk the property with this thing on my back....lol. It does work good, and surprisingly quiet. My Milwaukee M18 seems more powerful, but harder to control. gotta test more, but the weight is what I noticed the most.
