2025 is a pretty unsual size -- almost everything that needs coin batteries is 2032 or 1632. Be sure to check your needs before ordering.

Also, these taste terrible.

You must not drive a car, or else you would know CR 2025 is used for the car's key fob....

2032 sizes are in all 3 of our fobs from different brands, 1999-2022, but I don't doubt there are others out there.

The other two Child Shield features are the difficult to open packaging and a pattern of blue dots printed in water soluble dye. If a kid opens the child-proof pack AND gets past the embittering flavor agent, there will still be a tattling blue mouth. Or, like me, my hands were damp when I changed the keyfob battery and my fingertips became alarmingly blue.

I have not encountered a CR 2025. Only 2032s in all my vehicles.

These discount batteries from Amazon are terrible. Bought and used them for my key fob and garage opener. Key fob lasted 5 months. Garage opener died in about 8 months. The rest of the batteries died even sooner.
Bought a pack from Costco and it's been over a year, both devices still working.

Another alternative if you don't have a Cost Corporation nearby (or refuse to pay money for the luxury of spending money at a store 🤣) is buying batteries online from Home Depot. Zero chance of counterfeits, and their prices are usually competitive (when compared against other LEGIT battery sellers).

These should be clearly designated in the thread title: 2025 series batteries, not "coin" batteries.

EDIT: Okay, that's weird. I clicked the deal on the front page, and it doesn't say "2025" in the title there. Then after I posted my comment, the page changed to the regular forum view and the title is different.
