It has been this price for weeks. My Deco 6 suddenly broke, so i bought this one.

There is a 15% rebate if you buy with Amazon Prime Visa.

I decommissioned all my TP Link gear. Even the 24 port managed switch. I wasn't real thrilled with their performance anyway and then the news came out about the Chinese back doors in their equipment. I ripped it all out, put a Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE in with a in my house and a Dream Router 7 in my ex wife's house. I'm really pleased with the performance, the flexibility and very granular configuration (Great multiple VLAN support and I can VPN my entire house to Switzerland through a single connection), the UI, and the fact that I can manage my ex's network remotely (saves me having to go visit!). I bought through B&H. If you use their store card they will pay the sales tax (10.25% where I am).

My Dream Machine SE: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...ecial.html
And my Pro Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...7_pro.html

Her Dream Router 7: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...ter_7.html

I wouldn't touch TP-Link again.

How much more does the ubi cost? I am sure everybody would prefer an Ubi network but this is comparing apples to oranges.

look that's insanely expensive. who's going to spend $420 when so few devices are operating on Wi-Fi. 7. Wi-Fi 6 is barely catching on and to spend $420 on Wi-Fi 7 is just a total waste of money I mean come on guys really... How many devices have Wi-Fi 7... Wi-Fi 6 is good enough and with all the controversy over tp-link I'm not buying any of their products over Wi-Fi. 6. I already am at the 1 GB per second threshold with a Wi-Fi 6 mesh router system and I pay $200 for that. so why is Wi-Fi 7 worth $220 more when no devices hardly have use for Wi-Fi 7

$336 from TP-Link directly with the coupon code 20PERKSPOT. Also get a free indoor pan/tilt camera. Various sites have cashback.

The Dream Router 7, which is the little sister to my Dream Machine SE (the one I put in my ex's house), still has tons of very impressive features, including built in VPN client & server, multiple VLAN support, support for camera recordings onto an SSD, and lots more. I just got that from B&H for $299 but I went on their chat thing and asked if there were any promotions coming up and they tossed a $30 coupon at me. (They have done that more than once for me on other products). Their chat is not open right now because it's a Jewish holiday/Sabbath.

The other items that I got for my house are pricier. The Dream Machine SE is currently $499 and the U7 Pro Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point is $189 (You will need both if you are going wireless). But, like I said, if you use their store credit card they'll eat the sales tax. No longer to I have to ship to Oregon and then wait for my friend to come visit me with it!
