I have this. I used it and it is smoking fast. I ended up getting a a TP Link mesh router. that's not quite as fast as this one but I've got a much bigger house and that Wi-Fi 6 and 7 drops off real fast. so if you just want a singular unit this thing smokes!!!!

Thanks, no better feeling than deciding you need to buy something and the exact items pops up on SD. Question...I had a Linksys router with a usb 3.0 port and I had connected a 4tb ssd. Everything was working, sort of. After a few days of the router running like crap, I did some troubleshooting and determined the router couldn't power the ssd via the usb port. Ran fine when disconnected or I connected a standard external HD with a dedicated power supply. I was able to get it working by using a powered usb 3 switch. Has anyone connected an ssd directly without issue?

Also, does the interface for this router allow for ftp access to the drive? My older Linksys was able to but the newer ones removed external access to the drive. Thanks in advance

What router did you go with? I have a 3200 sq ft one story house and my current WiFi 5 router does not cover all of it. Thanks.

Yes... I have the BE11000 pro model it's basically the same. It supports even using a hub for more ports and more drives.
