They seem to be all about the same "quality"
I would probably go with a silicone one instead of this plastic rubber that seems to stick to the floor and disinegrate.
I have this. It's fine for what it is, but don't expect your house to suddenly become litter-free outside of the litter box. Your cats will still track it off the mat when they dig through the litter, jump in and out of the box, or picking up bits from the mat.
This is why I switched to horse bedding pellets from Tractor Supply. Not only is it way cheaper than the clumping stuff but it also keeps the house clean and dust free. I'd never go back to the old litter.
Initially I tried all pellets, no litter, and it was a complete disaster. She just started peeing wherever and we almost gave up. So my advice is to definitely go slow and just have patience. This is a case where it will probably take months to see results, but the ends totally justify the means.
Also, you'll want to have a second identical litter box so you can stack them, one inside the other. Drill a bunch of holes at the bottom of the inner box so that the sawdust from the used pellets can fall through to the bottom box for easy cleanup later.
Believe it or not, I actually got the idea to make the switch from someone in the comment thread for a SD on the clumping litter I used to use lol. It would have otherwise never crossed my mind. Good luck if you end up trying it. We have absolutely no regrets!
