They've been selling these for a decade (plus). I've seen blue light filtering ones as well. I think the yellow is supposed to create extra contrast whereas the blue filtering reduce eye strain. They also sell yellow tinted glasses like this for lowlight shooting / hunting / driving / boating but I've never found them personally beneficial for shooting and my wife has tried the driving ones but she didn't like those either.*

Yeah i have yellow ones for shooting as well. Mostly for protection than anything else. I know they have driving glasses also, my dad used to use those all the time, he liked it. Just never heard of gaming ones.

Just turn on night mode and increase contrast on your monitor. No need for glasses. Tinted and filtered glasses only make sense when you have no control over the environment such as when shooting or driving.

I rather get the Gunnars at BBY. These are being clearance because BBY wont carry them anymore.
