I took most of the bins out of mine and used them to store my sockets on the plastic HF socket rails.

Nice idea! Did you have to put packing in it to prevent the sockets from rattling off the rails or is it sufficiently tight?

I can't take credit for the idea. I think I saw that on reddit. They had put some wooden spacers in between the metal rails, which are stored on their sides, to keep them in position. Here was their setup:

I'm not doing any transport with mine, just using them to organize my 200(?) pc. Husky socket set in the garage so no problems with them coming off the rails but they fit snug. I used one organizer for metric and one for SAE.

Looks like junk tbh. Sometimes you can just tell by an image that the plastic is cheap and flimsy

I have these in medium and large. When my son was looking for some I told him I thought they were a little flimsy and might allow intermingling of contents when loaded with screws , nuts and bolts and the My Nards! ones seem stiffer IMO. Probably ok for lighter and larger items.

I have 30 of these In a home made rack and remove a lot of the bins as well, then traded with a guy on the tool forum all my little ones for some big ones. There was an active swap group for the bins back when these first came out and were only $5.

On the contrary. These have a HUGE following in the shop/tool forums, and I can vouch that unless something has changed, they are plenty stout and not cheap or flimsy.

I've had 30 of these in a home made rack in my shop for a good 10 years now.

These are great. People complaining have never used them. I've had these for years and add to my collection every time there's a sale. They work great, toss them around and have not had any break or open unexpectedly.

I use mine for Lego minifig pieces. Hair, swords, etc etc.

That's a great idea. I'm waiting for a good rebrickable post for that new 3 in 1 castle and the haunted mansion. Last 3 in 1 castle I did 3x of the set into one and it came out awesome.

Hahaha, meet in the middle and do minifig scale DND. I actually use their druid minifig for my Eldritch knight since I'm too lazy to paint anymore.
