SD link to Mobile app - does not open by default

Phone: OnePlus 12
Default browser set: Firefox with uBlock
Android : 15
SD App version: 6.8.0
Default link to open the apps is set as slickdeals.net but still the new version of the app stopped opening by default when link in the email is clicked. I have even uninstalled and installed the app several times. I disabled the SD domain in uBlock rule.
If I add other links in the "open supported links" setting for this app, the app doesn't load and crashes.
Any pointer to fix this? Thanks
