That's fortunate. I have personally had problems (as mentioned--activates but then randomly stops working down the line). My understanding is that they often obtain a license via a bulk "volume licensing plan" for some huge corporation or other back, non-consumer channels. Then they sell the key to multiple customers. If the key gets activated too many times, then MS blacklists it. So it's kind of a gamble with what the other people are doing that also got the same key. I don't have experience with this specific merchant, but... seems to be the general pattern.

LTSC disables the App Store which is a deal breaker to me... unless there's a work around that's not difficult.

We've ALL said hell no to each version of Windows when it came out..and since we're (from the comments) all in windows 10...that means we've all upgraded at some point lol.

I got a key for like $5 on ebay awhile ago so i'm still activated. $8 ain't bad. Never had problems with these types of cheap keys (when is starting using instead of dealing with hassle of hacking the activation).

So...what is the bigger deal about win 11 this time around?
