Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on using these on oil/fuel/hydro filters? I can't use a black sharpie on a black filter and have been looking for a cheap solution. Reviews seem to be pretty positive. Any input is appreciated!

Same here, but s&s gives you an extra 5%. 80 cents more off. I know that's not a lot, but it's something. Btw, lots of recent reviews claiming multiples were dried up on delivery. Test em when you get em.

If you just mean writing on black plastic like ABS, these will work well. The ink stands out pretty clearly on black plastic, although it can be hard to write in small print and still read it clearly. But if oil or fuel is going to get on the writing, then it may dissolve and smear it. (You can erase Sharpie ink with some solvents, like ethanol.) In that case, you might want to shop for some kind of industrial paint marker.

That's scamazon for ya -- old stock stored in goodness-knows-what-kind-of-warehousing.

They had chocolate bars on sale back in July. Or as I call it, hot chocolate pre-melted in wrappers.
