They both put out same nut busting & torque tightening, so get the one you got the most sockets for.

I'd go "1/2 honestly. You can always adapt down to " 3/8 and shouldn't be an issue in that case if torque loss in an adaptor is truly a thing.

550 lb breakaway torque on this model, so yes. Yes it will. (Unless you're working on a semi with rusted bolts, but in that case you need the ugga dugga 1/2" high torque M18 fuel)
