deal description says it is a 2-pack, this is incorrect, it is only one completed unit for the stated price

I haven't put mine to use yet from the two pack deal (still waiting on an inverter), but the build quality looks generally very good, they were well packaged/palletized, and the communication with the company was good regarding delivery.

How big is it , takes up a lot of floor space?

Dimensions are in the listing, but they're tallish for the weight, I'd definitely recommend taking extra care when moving them around on their casters (which are nice quality btw) as they are heavy af. For me the dimensions are ideal, I'd prefer to have them as tall as possible to take up less floor space. I think they achieved that, couldn't go any taller without getting too tipsy.

You got charged sales tax in Florida? I thought there wasn't any on batteries and solar stuff. Lowes and Home Depot don't charge tax on batteries if you're in Florida. Did I miss something?

Instead of casters, they should have just given it two feet.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/...<br /> But seriously though, I've had casters degrade over time from my concrete basement floor. I don't know if it's the caster material or the concrete causing issues?

I'd have more confidence if they offered a longer warranty. Should be at least 5 years minimum. It's a no buy for me, dont want a 300lb brick after

I have solar. and a power wall already. but the power wall runs out (or down to my set 20% capacity) in just a few hours. is it possible to augment my existing system with one or two of these? would an electrician even entertain that?

Caster Material. Some are better than others.

What inverter should I pair this with if I want to use it during peak 5pm-8pm rates? And then charge it back up with cheaper off-peak rates? Is that possible?

You have to request a tax exempt account from Ebay. At the end of the month you send the exempt purchases on a spreadsheet to them and they refund the tax.

usually best if not imperative that you use all one type, identical, connected to a given inverter. your charging can be erratic across them inverter is not likely to communicate w different types simultaneously.

Does anyone have this or similar battery in a basement? My county adopted the most draconian code. It requires installation by a licensed electrician and a "fireproof closet". I was thinking about going rogue on them,, but if anything happens dealing with insurance could be a nightmare.
