Those exclude people porting numbers from Verizon or any of Verizon's many brands.
This is a great deal for those of us who don't qualify for the 50% deal (like me).

You can qualify is you step out to somewhere, like tello, and step back into visible as soon as the next day.
I'm trying to help my friend move away from Verizon to one of their subsidiaries. She has already paid off her iPhone completely.
Does tello allow service for just 1 day?
Here is my thought process,
-she would port from Verizon to tello for 1 day
-then port from tello to that 50% off visible plan deal
You'd have to sign up as if you were buying a cheap tello monthly plan and then, when you port out, you "lose" the remainder with the early cancelation.
A minimum of 1 day is recommended to allow everything to port correctly from visible to tello. Then you can complete the process of porting back.

I can't comment on process of porting out to tello. But if you want to take this further, you can stack few discounts on top of it. One is referral discount from another visible member (usually $20), some cashback websites are offering $20-$50 on visible, and Chase usually has 20-30%(usually upto $30 or so).
