If you have access to Costco, they have great protein options at good prices. My sister in law was recently severely burned over 75% of her body and I was able to help her put together a great diet using food from there, standouts: kirkland protein powder, pre-cooked sirloin bites, Oikos yogurt, catalina crunch cereal, well priced eggs, fairlife premixed protein shakes, several amazing tuna options, and don't forget the rotisserie chicken. Heal up!
I'll need to look into the Kirkland powder and sirloin bites. I'm so sick of chicken lol. Thank you for the info. Best wishes to your sister.

Yikes, but good of you. But not sure how all of this will help with the scarring.

Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Best healing wishes to her!

It's not really about scarring, when you have burns or other big injuries you literally need more protein in your diet to rebuild tissue.

Reviews show very poor quality protein that doesn't blend well and clumps together often. Clumping is usually a moisture issue. People complaining of the hershey squirts makes me think that it's got way too much artificial sweetener. No pictures of the ingredients list. Container and mascot look like they were ripped from the old Powerthirst parody video on Youtube from 2007. Yikes.

Yep. They show a nice clear image of the nutrition facts, but not the ingredients list.

any other reputable brands for this $/lb?
I got a 10 pound bag of animal whey isolate protein for $90 with a 15 percent off coupon found on the page and also having 15 percent off subscribe and save discount. I know it's a little more expensive but it's as close as I could find this month. Plus it's isolate. If you're looking for something cheaper the animal whey non isolate might have the coupon and be a little cheaper.

Seems expensive for just regular ol' Whey, doesn't it?
