Definitely avoid ASRock motherboards given all of the failures when paired with AMD CPUs (9800x3d has the most reports on Reddit).

Picked this up ono7/08/25 for $399 on sale at microcenter. I haven't seen it that low since. Oddly when looking at price history that price doesn't show up.

someone posted bestbuy price matched that price but I was on hold for well over an hour and never got thru. closet micro center is 5 hours away from me.

You can still get one for $400 if you bundle it with a motherboard on MSI's on-line store. You can also opt for a Ryzen 9 9900X3D for $475, which is currently selling for $587 everywhere else.
