From the "Compare Roku Players" section on the amazon product page, it looks like:

"Roku Streaming Stick Plus 2025 4K" has "HD, 4K, HDR10+"
whereas,
"Roku Streaming Stick 4K" has "HD, 4K, HDR10+, Dolby Vision"

Lovely and helpful product naming there, Roku.

I know the stick is way cheaper, but having the Roku Ultra remote which has the backlighting and the lost remote finder is a godsend for me. If you're on the fence and want those features I can tell you they are both excellent on the Roku Ultra. The backlight works by motion so it turns on when you pick it up and/or push a button on it. Also the Ultra remote has a rechargeable battery via USB-C. The designers of that thing should win an award.

Also of note you can buy the Roku Streaming Stick 4K [amazon.com] on Amazon for ~$3 more. It includes Dolby Vision and "Long range" Wi-Fi unlike this deal.

What is the model number of this? I need to look up if it supports Multiview on Fubo.

Also, does it have a microsd slot? My previous Roku ran out of memory quick after you install some apps and needed a memory card to perform decently.

I am not sure if Fubo hasn't updated their website but this is newer than the 2024 stick 4k, but this is not on the list of devices that supports Multiview for Fubo.

Technically, its name is just "Roku Streaming Stick Plus". The year designates the model year and the 4k is part of the "4K & HDR Roku Streaming Device" product label and isn't part of the device's actual name.

100% agree with this. We have 2 Ultras… my advice, pay the extra money to get the backlit remote and remote finder feature.

They hide the info very deep, but seems to be wifi-5 802.11 AC. Ummmm we're on 7 with 8 coming. Now I remember why i ditched Roku long ago. Firestick 4k newest has wifi 6E and its way smoother.

very annoyed that this doesn't directly connect to bluetooth, gotta go through the roku app on your phone.

mine was immediately replaced with a roku ultra and tossed in a drawer. Very happy with the Ultra.

I just don't like how the 2025 version still has the same 1GB RAM as the 2021 version.
