Slickdeals Classic not working on mobile browser anymore

For some reason today Slickdeals will not load the classic interface on my mobile browsers (tested with Firefox and Brave).

I am logged in, and scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Classic" option but it just stays on "Redesign". One work around I found is to request desktop mode, but that has to be done every time I load the site.

Is this affecting anyone else or just me? Was this an official design change that just happened today?

I just checked and it looks ok for me. Can you please try clearing your cookies/cache to see if that helps?

Basic HTML view is not working yet for the just the main page as I originally reported. Just tried from multiple devices, some that hadn't viewed slickdeals.net in many weeks, so it's not a caching situation.

It's not going to a basic HTML page for me either and I have tried on three different devices. These forums and the hot deals, but when I click Home it goes to standard with pictures.

It's now been flipping back to the new style. Clicking classic sometimes works and usually can with enough clicks at least for a while. Both on mobile and desktop. Did try clearing cache and cookies which didn't help.

I just want to echo the concerns of the OP. Despite a SD staff comment further below stating that this has been fixed, on two separate machines I am locked into the "Redesign" layout. Any suggestions on how to fix this is greatly appreciated, since the Redesign layout is not at all preferred.

If you have ablock / VPN turn it off try again ( you can turn it back on after) i had this happen before

Thank you for the suggestion. To update, I have tried again with all extensions/VPN disabled but with no luck. Also tried logging in using a new browser that I've never before used for SlickDeals and experienced the same result. I currently see no way to return to the classic view. The links at the bottom of the page for both "Redesign" and "Classic" both just result in the "Redesign" layout. The result is the same on two different Windows 10 machines, and on mobile with "desktop layout" enabled so the issue is not isolated. The sooner this is fixed, the sooner I can again enjoy using SD. Thank you again.
