This violates basic principles of chemistry and physics.

The real problem with these OTC supplements is that it's easy for someone to take too much and potentially cause complications. Or it may interact with some medication they were prescribed by their doctor. And of course probably better than 99% of people taking supplements don't really need them.
You'd be so much better off if you just ate an orange and took a walk around the block every day compared to taking this shit.
