I like the dual shock absorbers feature because I do not want to be changing flats. So the hard tires are my first choice. This scooter has plenty of power, speed, and range.

I've been following these threads, and see the buyer's remorse and lament for those who went with the sub $150 options, such as LP60, LP80. I looked into the EXMax but pneumatic tires are not for me. I want to avoid that maintenance and opted for solid tires with shocks to get the best of both worlds.

I just received mine. Rained out for 2 days, though.
Update: It dried up, and I got to take her for a spin. Very nice and powerful acceleration with a smooth ride, just as expected from the reviews.
  • Easy assembly and pairing with the app.
  • High quality, sturdy build
  • Shocks giving a very smooth ride, to compensate for the solid tires.
They took away the coupon for a day and dropped its value this time when it came back, but this price is still with $10 of the last post I made, which was a popular deal. So for those who missed out, enjoy.

This is my next purchase, I bought a LP80 for my teenage daughters to try out. The 350w motor on the LP80 is too weak for the long hill going up to the highschool, so the 500w motor on the LPMAX would be what's needed. Also the suspension in the front would make it so much more enjoyable to ride. However I have noticed none of these Ladped scooters are UL certified. The charger is UL certified but not the scooter itself. So if that matters to you just be aware.

Unless you only live in a new suburb that has unbroken bike paths, get something with front suspension. Spend the extra money!

Thank you for supporting this one! Too many folks hating their hard-tire scooters with no suspension.

I am super happy with my LP80, no hills though in Chicago and yes it can be bumpy if not a smooth street but can easily dodge the potholes.

It's funny you mention 'the long hill going up to the highschool', because that's exactly why I'm looking for something like this - for my daughter. I just wonder what size motor will be sufficient. And,.. how well something like this would hold up in rain.
