Pro Ultra has hot water mop washing, but gen2 has higher suction (10K pascal vs 7K pascal).
Both gen2 and pro ultra have extendable mop, mop raising is much higher than base l10s ultra (10.5mm vs 7mm), and higher suction than base l10s ultra (which is at 5300 pascal), and are better options than the base l10 ultra.
I owned the L10s Ultra and loved it, and recently sold it for L10s Pro Ultra. Compared to Gen2, the Pro Ultra has hot water washing and camera, which provide better obstacle avoidance and enable a camera-based washing strategy. The Gen2 offers higher suction power, but I don't think that makes a big difference for a robot vacuum, since the airflow is very low.

Compared to Gen2, the Pro Ultra has hot water washing and camera, which provide better obstacle avoidance and enable a camera-based washing strategy. The Gen2 offers higher suction power, but I don't think that makes a big difference for a robot vacuum, since the airflow is very low.

question: you mention hot water washing. what exactly is this? is it washing the mop pads with hot water? does the heat transfer over when cleaning floors?
are you talk about the L10s Pro Ultra or L10s Pro Ultra Heat?
but when the robot moves and mops the floor, it's using regular (room temperature) water not hot water u have to check the table in the link. there is so many versions with very similar names

The unit also had issues climbing on to rugs. Mop pads sat very low and would drag onto my rug while vacuuming and making it wet. Also the overall mopping performance was subpar - when it first starts, the mop wets the floor, but as it progresses, the mop pads dry out and just dry spin on the floor
