I have this but got it from home depot about a year and a half ago. I am on my 2nd RMA. It's a capable unit that works great with one major flaw. Firmware updates brick it. Like there's zero QA from Ecoflow on their firmware. I would highly recommend never updating the firmware once you have the unit set up.

What are the reasons Ecoflow updates their own firmware in the first place? Do they have release notes?

The firmware update makes the unit think it has a battery failure. The battery failure light came on after a successful firmware update and it shows zero charge. I always limit charge level to 80% as well. Idk if this is just a delta 2 issue or if it also happens on their other product lines (river, etc)

This most current update said something like "bug fixes" or "fixing known issues" or something like that. Other updates have said "improved charging" or "optimization"
