One piece hardwood is expensive. Anyone used this one before? I just placed order.
I have a 48" in a split top single motor. I thought it would be a bigger nuisance, but it really isn't. Anything I write on can easily fit on one half of the split top, so it's not like I'm writing across a crack.

This is a 4-piece split though, so lots of room for it to be a nuisance. Especially because I assume their QA is not going to be that tight.
You can cover the main central split with a keyboard, but your mouse is going to be more or less sitting on a T seam. There's no way it won't annoy the you to no end.

does the split affect weight distribution? wondering if this would be able to handle monitors like they have in the picture

Seeing how this one splits - yeah, I agree with you. I guess I assumed it was split into 4 equal quadrants. My 48" is split lengthwise (ie 2- 48"x19" panels), so doesn't bother me.
That center panel looks like plenty of room for a keyboard and mouse, but potentially not much else. I personally find myself writing on paper off to the right of my mouse hand somewhat frequently, so that seam would bother me. Unfortunately, not many of the Amazon photos show this (the extra long) model.

Anyone buying this desk should check if minimum height would be fine for their usage/height. (Measure how high your elbow level is from the ground when comfortably using/sitting on your current chair) 28.3" is on higher side among bunch of standing desks on the market.
For example, "E6 essential" from same company has minimum height of 23.6", which allows it to be used by kids. It is priced on Amazon at $153-170 for the frame only depending on color. Price will probably be higher by picking up E6 and buying your own desktop wood piece.
Just mentioning this because I had to find out hard way, only to fully assemble/disassemble the desk and returning...

Edit your title and post please. The depth is 32", NOT 39".

Is this code for just this item? I'm looking at/for one of the smaller (55x28, 3-stage) desks from FlexiSpot, and would definitely buy at 50% off. None that I've tried this code with have worked, though.
With the split, this one is a no-go for me personally.

Because of the split, I would alsk caution for those planning on using monitor arm(s).
Can you explain why using monitor arms is a bad idea with a split desk? Does it have something to do with stability? I'm looking for a standing desk but have a monitor stand that supports 3 monitors.
