If upgradable RAM is important to you the 2025 version of the Tuf A14 has user upgradable RAM along with a second SSD slot and an RTX 5060 according to ASUS's website. But, the 2025 is $1,700 USD and has a worse processor.
EDIT: Ignore my above comment about the 2025 model. ASUS's website reads: "Full upgradability with Dual 2280 NVMe slots and dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM". But buried further down they clarify it's LPDDR5x RAM.

I will say if you do buy an Asus laptop, for the love of God do not update the USB C firmware. I did this about 2 weeks ago and it completely bricked my charging on the ASUS Vivobook S14 (M5406).
I'm waiting on my credit card company to see though honor the extended warranty benefits, if they do I'll probably pick another one of these up. I also have the Lunar Lake Asus Vivobook laptop and it's one of the best computers I've ever owned.
The second SSD is really winning me over, with a dedicated GPU 16 gigs of RAM seems a bit more manageable
Great laptop. So tempted but the 16 Gb RAM!!!
Realistically, it's more than most people need.
